Auburn City Council adjusts holiday meeting schedule

The Auburn City Council has canceled two meetings scheduled during the holiday weeks in November and December.

The council voted last week to cancel meetings scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 28, and Thursday, Dec. 26.

Thanksgiving is on November 28th, while Christmas is one day before the last gathering of the year.

Now the last council meeting of 2024 will take place on Thursday, December 19th.

The Council will not meet on Thursday, October 31, as it is the fifth Thursday of the month. The Council generally does not hold meetings on the fifth Thursday of each month.
