Possible match between Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley discussed by WWE officials – PWMania

Possible match between Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley discussed by WWE officials – PWMania

WWE is conducting fewer intergender matches today than in the past, particularly during the company’s Ruthless Aggression era. However, a match could be big enough to be booked by WWE.

After WrestleMania 40, Liv Morgan, the Women’s World Champion, began working with Rhea Ripley. Ripley was injured early in her program and had to miss out on the women’s world title. Morgan defeated Becky Lynch to win the Women’s World Championship at King and Queen of the Ring PLE.

Morgan won his grudge match against Ripley at SummerSlam and retained the title with help from Dominik Mysterio. Morgan and Mysterio defeated Ripley and Damian Priest in a mixed tag team match at the Bash in Berlin, but Ripley won by DQ after Raquel Rodriguez attacked Morgan at Bad Blood.

In the midst of this feud, Mysterio turns against Ripley. At a recent Backstage Pass Q&A, there was talk of Mysterio vs. Ripley.

WrestleVotes stated, “I know it’s been brought up. Unfortunately, I don’t know how high it is, but on some creative level there is a real desire to make this match before the angle fizzles out. Yes.”

It added: “I don’t know how far down the table it went. Seen from below, there is an expectation of doing something with it.”

Rhea has openly expressed interest in the concept, which WWE teased when Mysterio touched Ripley on an episode of Raw.
