* This will be the first meeting between these two teams and the third time in program history that Rutgers will travel to California for a game.

*Rutgers running back Kyle Monangai is No. 2 in rushing in the Big Ten this season with 845 yards and 10 touchdowns. He leads the conference with 154 carriers.

* Rutgers quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis ranks 16th in the conference in completion percentage. He has yet to play a game this season with a completion rate above 65%. After throwing three touchdown passes each against Howard and Akron to start the season, Kaliakmanis has thrown just two touchdown passes against four interceptions in the last five games.

* Scarlet Knights linebacker Dariel Djabome ranks third in the Big Ten with 66 total tackles this season.

* Rutgers has struggled against the run this season, allowing 170.3 yards per game on the ground, which ranks 99th overall and 17th in the conference.
