Since Apple released the new Apple Watch Series 10 at the beginning of September, the price has steadily and continuously fallen and is currently at $370 (originally $399), the lowest price to date, according to price check tools. This price is only for the 42mm case, small/medium strap and black color. Other options are available at a higher price. While the discount isn’t mind-blowing, it’s still impressive considering this is a flagship product from Apple that launched last month.

According to Lifehacker’s Associate Tech Editor Michelle Ehrhardt’s review, the Apple Watch Series 10 is the best Apple Watch for most people and a great replacement if you’re still wearing the lower-priced SE. There are also some key upgrades to the Apple Watch 9, although fewer than older Apple Watches. If you want to know how it compares to other flagship smartwatches, you can check out our side-by-side comparison post here.

One of the first things you’ll notice about the Series 10 is a thinner chassis and a larger OLED screen (either 1.6-inch or 1.8-inch, depending on which size you buy). Unlike the Series 9, which could only answer calls through the speaker, the Series 10 has audio playback so you can listen to podcasts or Spotify through the speakers. Sleep features have also been improved, with a notification that is triggered when sleep apnea symptoms occur. There are also new depth and water temperature sensors that automatically turn on when you go underwater, a feature previously only found on the higher-end Apple Watch Ultra series.

The battery lasts between 18 and 36 hours depending on usage. You still get the same fitness features, heart rate monitor and sleep tracker as previous models – but still no blood oxygen sensor.
