Mason Rudolph will make his second straight start Sunday in Detroit as coach Brian Callahan said he would give Will Levis another week to rest the injured ACL in his shoulder.

“We expect to give Will probably another week. We’ll see how the week goes. He’s still in that week-to-week mode. I’m not necessarily ruling him out, but I think we’ll take a look and let Mason get more reps this week and get ready for the game and see how Will gets through the week. But I think he’s getting better every day and he’s going to put in some work out there too and just work his way back,” Callahan said. “There’s nothing official at this point, but I’m probably leaning towards Mason staying an extra week and Will giving Will another week of rest.”

Callahan said when the Titans gave Levis full reps in a padded practice last Thursday, it was to determine his status and see if he could play. When Levis felt sore muscles and problems with his mechanics, Callahan decided to go with Rudolph against Buffalo.

This week Rudolph will provide the majority of the starters to prepare for the encounter with the Lions.

Rudolph went 25 of 40 for 215 yards with a touchdown and an interception in his first start against the Bills last week.
