Inter must have believed they would get another routine Champions League win after a 4-0 win over Red Star Belgrade.

However, the Young Boys gave the Serie A champions a run for their money.

“It was a tough game against an aggressive team that put a lot of pressure on us. “These are valuable three points,” said Sommer after the game.

“They had several chances to score; it was hard. But we also had chances, including the missed penalty.

“In the end it’s a well-deserved victory.”

“Yes, it’s okay to miss a penalty; it happens.
