MJF match announced for AEW Full Gear 2024

An MJF match has been announced for the upcoming AEW Full Gear 2024 pay-per-view on Saturday, November 23, 2024.

On tonight’s AEW Dynamite there were further developments regarding the return of Adam Cole and his ongoing feud with MJF.

Adam Cole had an in-ring segment where he vowed to get his hands on MJF, but then he was interrupted by his former friends from the Undisputed Kingdom – Roderick Strong, Mike Bennett and Matt Taven.

They were all interrupted on the video screen by a pre-recorded video of MJF promising not to appear in person until AEW Full Gear, where he would face either Adam Cole or Roderick Strong.

His opponent for Full Gear will be determined by who wins three games in a row first – Cole or Strong.

The segment appeared to reunite their group and ended with a group hug with the Undisputed Kingdom, although Kyle O’Reilly was seen backstage scowling.

Later, the House of Black had a trios match against a group of local talent, whom they defeated, before Buddy Matthews took to the microphone to call out an intriguing challenger.

Matthews called out Adam Cole for next week’s AEW Dynamite, after which Renee Paquette tried to get a comment from Cole backstage when he decided to just address the House of Black member himself.

When Adam Cole met Matthews to ask him what the problem was, Buddy just smiled.

He would then tell Adam Cole that he wanted to prove one thing – that Cole was “fragile.”
