The Asian swing continues on the WTA Tour, with the action taking place in Japan and China. Meanwhile, the ATP Tour continues in Europe as a number of players fight for positions and the ATP Finals draw ever closer.

07:30 CET – Good morning and welcome back to Tennis Tracker this Thursday morning!

The WTA Tour is still taking place in Asia, which means there was a result in Tokyo in the early hours of the morning: Sofia Kenin (25) recovered from a set down to overtake Clara Tauson (21) 6-7(8) , 6 -4, 7-6(6) in an epic contest.

Currently on the court is last week’s Ningbo winner, Daria Kasatkina (27), who is competing against McCartney Kessler (25). Number 1 seed Qinwen Zheng (22) will take the court a little later as she wants to continue her good 2024 before making her WTA Finals debut in a few weeks.

Over in Guangzhou, another number 1 seed, Katerina Siniakova (28), is currently playing and wants to reach the quarter-finals.

Later in the day, Vienna welcomes Jack Draper (22), Grigor Dimitrov (33) and Alex De Minaur (25), while Stefanos Tsitsipas (26), Holger Rune (21) and two-time defending champion Felix Auger-Aliassime (24) want to get in Secure Basel a place in the last eight.
