'The Young and the Restless' Spoilers: Heather's Killer Revealed?

Loyal fans of The young and the restless Know that Sharon (Sharon Case) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) were never best friends and were rarely polite. Their long-standing rivalry certainly hasn’t improved in recent months, as Sharon’s mental health has deteriorated to the point where she attempted to murder Phyllis’ son Daniel (Michael Graziadei) and allegedly killed Heather (Vail Bloom).

Now that Sharon is working overtime to frame Daniel for Heather’s murder, while Phyllis is all but certain that Sharon is the murderer and eventual perpetrator in this scenario, Sharon and Phyllis appear to be on an explosive collision course. This sense of a collision course is further supported The young and the restless The episode will air on October 24th.

After Sharon has a heated exchange with Daniel and Phyllis has her own with Nick (Joshua Morrow), Sharon and Nick recap their conversations. Sharon is incredibly worried when she learns that Phyllis believes she murdered Heather, leading Daniel to take the fall. The owner of Crimson Lights believes that if Phyllis spreads these accusations and Summer (Allison Lanier) is with Chance (Conner Floyd), the lead investigator on Heather’s murder, Phyllis will get them in trouble. At the end of the episode, Sharon thinks to herself, “I have to take care of Phyllis and stop this nightmare before it’s too late.”

We can’t be sure what Sharon meant by that at the moment, but since Sharon never liked Phyllis and keeps dabbling in murder, we wouldn’t be surprised if Sharon tried to kill Phyllis.

With all that said, we’ve come up with a few scenarios that could play out if it seems like the two ladies are destined to clash in some way. Scenarios that lead to a big reveal – Heather’s true murder. Since Sharon fainted the night the incident occurred and didn’t really remember beating Heather to death, we’ve said it a few times already. Therefore, there is a possibility that she didn’t do it.

Chance also recently discovered that the murder weapon was a statue of an octopus that was found in Daniel’s apartment and was used to kill Heather. On the night of the murder, Sharon had no blood spatter on her face and clothing before she began cleaning up the crime scene. We do not pretend to be forensic experts, but given the nature of the murder and the force that should have been used, Sharon should have had more physical evidence with her to suggest she was the perpetrator.

Back to the scenarios: In one, we can imagine Phyllis confronting Sharon with damning evidence and telling her rival that she’s going to the police. Then Sharon gets angry and tries to stop Phyllis, but Phyllis runs off, jumps in her car and drives to the police station.

A desperate Sharon follows her, and as the two women drive erratically at night, they get into a car accident that leaves them both unconscious. When they come to, they discover they have been kidnapped and tied up, and face none other than Daisy (Jill Jameson), Heather’s murderer.

At this point, Daisy may be bragging that she had been stalking Heather for weeks before her murder, and when she saw Sharon and Heather arguing that night while Sharon passed out, she took the opportunity to kill Heather. Now that Heather is out of the way, Daisy could move on. She has a real chance of becoming a mother to her biological child Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant). And with Sharon blaming Daniel for the murder and Phyllis and Sharon soon to be Daisy’s next murder victims, no one will stand in her way of claiming her daughter. Should this scenario come true, Chance and Nick could be the duo that comes to Phyllis and Sharon’s aid if the two ladies can’t figure out how to work together to save themselves.

Another scenario we can imagine still involves the revelation that Daisy is the real murderer, but sees Sharon luring Phyllis to a secluded location to eliminate her rival. However, after observing Sharon and Phyllis to some extent, Daisy surprises them both and shows up at the location with a gun and a plan to get rid of them. When a gun is pointed at Sharon and Phyllis, they find themselves at Daisy’s mercy as she prepares to kill them both. Again, Chance and Nick may have to intervene to save her, or they may have to put their rivalry aside to save themselves.

It bears repeating that Sharon’s attempt to kill Phyllis and Daisy’s revelation are merely theoretical at this point. However, we have to consider many possibilities as this plot keeps having more and more twists.
