Sub-district volleyball pairings released

The NSAA has released the subdistrict volleyball pairings for next week.

Broken Bow is ranked No. 2 in the C1-7 subdistrict. Minden is the top seed and host of the tournament. Broken Bow will face number 3 seed David City on Monday evening, the winner will advance to the semi-finals on Tuesday (October 29th). All Broken Bow games in the C1-7 tournament will be broadcast on KCNI 1280 AM / 96.3 FM and kcni1280.com. Monday’s game is scheduled for 6 p.m

C1-7 BRACKET

Cozad and Gothenburg will both compete in the C1-8 subdistrict at Kearney Catholic. Cozad will face GICC on Monday night, with the winner facing top-seeded Kearney Catholic later that evening. Gothenburg is No. 3 and will face Adams Central on Monday, with the winners advancing to the final on Tuesday.

C1-8 BRACKET

In Class C2, Arcadia/Loup City will compete in the six-team C2-9 subdistrict tournament, where Maywood Hayes Center is the top seed. ALC is the No. 3 seed and will face Twin River on Monday. The winner plays Cross County on Tuesday. The sub-district championship takes place on Wednesday (October 30th).

C2-9 BRACKET

South Loup will compete in the six-team C2-8 subdistrict tournament, where Hastings St. Cecilia is the top seed. South Loup plays Centennial on Monday, with the winner advancing to No. 2 seed Southern Valley on Tuesday. The sub-district championship takes place on Wednesday (October 30th).

C2-8 BRACKET

Ansley/Litchfield is the top seed in the four-team D1-8 subdistrict. The Lady Spartans face Twin Loup on Monday night. Pleasanton is the No. 2 seed and will face Burwell on Monday, with the winners facing off for the sub-district championship on Tuesday night.

D1-8 BRACKET

Sandhills Valley is the No. 4 seed in the D1-11 subdistrict and will face top-seeded Brady on Monday. The winner advances to the subfinals and plays the winner of South Platte and Sutherland on Tuesday.

D1-11 BRACKET

SEM and Anselmo-Merna will both play in the D2-7 subdistrict tournament hosted by top-seeded Central Valley. SEM will face Anselmo-Merna on Monday, the winner will advance to the semi-finals on Tuesday. Coverage of SEM and Anselmo-Merna during the D2-7 subdistrict tournament will be available on KBBN radio and sandhillsexpress.com. The game between SEM and AM on Monday is scheduled for 6 p.m

D2-7 BRACKET

Sandhills/Thedford is the top seed in the four-team D2-10 subdistrict. S/T faces Arthur County on Monday. Monday’s other opening game pits No. 2 seed Mullen against Hyannis, with the winners facing off for the subdistrict championship on Tuesday.
