Men’s tennis travels to the Ivy Invitational on Friday

ITHACA, NY – The Cornell men’s tennis team is sending six representatives to Yale for the Ivy Invitational, taking place Friday, October 25th through Sunday, October 27th.

The Big Red will send a rookie Rodrigo FernandesSecond semester Felipe PinzonJuniors Noah Eisenberg, Aman SharmaAnd Petar Teodorovic and senior Jack McCarthy for the invitation.

Cornell is coming off the ITA Division I Men’s New England Regional Championships, where there were both singles and doubles winners, and these six athletes will look to leave the Ivy Invitational with even more success for the Big Red.

In Ivy games this year, Fernandes is 1-2, Eisenberg 0-1, Sharma 0-3, Teodorovic 4-1, McCarthy 1-1, with the only loss coming against Cornell’s teammates Nathan Mao in the ITA Regional Championships and Pinzon has yet to play an Ivy match this season.

Ivy Invitational play begins Friday, October 25th and runs through Sunday, October 27th in New Haven, CT.
