Emma Raducanu smiles in her tennis whites and trains despite her injury

Tennis star Emma Raducanu burst onto the scene at just 18 years old after winning the US Open. She immediately became an international star, receiving high-profile endorsements from top brands such as Tiffany & Co., Dior, Porsche, Nike and many more.

Unfortunately, she has since struggled with several injuries and has yet to win another major title.

Most recently, Raducanu was forced to withdraw from the Hong Kong Open due to a persistent foot injury as the WTA Asia transition continues.

Despite the series of injuries, 21-year-old Raducanu has maintained a positive mood and recently shared a highlight of her recovery, showing her smiling on and off the pitch.

Raducanu stayed busy in the gym and on the training pitches to get back into shape.

“While my foot is making good progress, I still need some time to get fit,” Raducanu wrote on X about her withdrawal from the tournament.

“I hope I can come back and play this tournament in the future.”

Raducanu hasn’t played a game since September 21, when she sprained ligaments in her foot during a quarterfinal match against Daria Kasatkina at the Korea Open.

The Hong Kong Open begins on Monday, October 28th.
