MSU Spartan men’s tennis set for participation in the Louisville Classic tournament

EAST LANSING, Mich. – With intense competition and a chance to make a name for themselves this upcoming season, Michigan State men’s tennis’ goal is to produce great performances and build momentum for the upcoming season.

Four Spartans will travel to compete on Friday-Sunday, March 23-25. October to compete in the Louisville Classic tournament. Freshmen Danial Rakhmatullayev And Mitchell SheldonJunior David Saye and senior Josh Portnoy.

The game starts on Friday at 2 p.m. All four Spartans will compete in singles matches; there will be no doubles matches this weekend.

One game will take place on Friday, followed by two games on Saturday and concluding the weekend with the final on Sunday.

The teams participating this weekend are Kentucky, Louisville, Tennessee and Michigan State.

The Spartans are looking forward to preparing for the upcoming weekend where they will split up and compete in three different tournaments across the country.

Next up for the Spartans are the B1G Indoor Championships, the ITA Conference Masters and the ITA Sectionals, all taking place November 7-10.
