Cody Rhodes on rumors of a match against Roman Reigns & The Rock at WrestleMania 41

Cody Rhodes recently addressed a rumor that he would face Roman Reigns and The Rock in the main event at WrestleMania 41. Rhodes is currently dealing with the Bloodline storyline and The Rock teased on the Raw after WrestleMania 40 that he would be back for WWE Undisputed Champion. Rhodes appeared at Vegas Revealed with Dayna Roselli and was asked about a rumor that he would face Reigns and Rock in a Triple Threat at the April 2025 show.

“There are so many rumors going around,” Rhodes said (per Fightful). “It’s eating up the social feed, all the different rumors about what the games might be. The hardest thing in WWE, sports entertainment and professional wrestling in general is not winning [the WWE Title]the hardest part is the WrestleMania main event. I don’t care what the rumor is as long as the rumor says I’m in the main event of WrestleMania. I’m fine with it.”

He continued: “What I can say to those who are keeping an eye on the rumor: I bet what they get at WrestleMania 41 is unexpected even for them.” Even the people who are following this, the die-hards who feel that way It will be difficult to keep up with the times. This will be unexpected, that’s the best way to say it, but in the best way.”

The Rock appeared on WWE Bad Blood, teaming with Reigns and Rhodes to close out the PPV. No word on when he will return.
