Michael Fassbender Stars; Premiere date set

Showtime has announced the trailer and premiere date for The agencythe upcoming political spy thriller based on the acclaimed French drama The Bureau of Legends.

The series will debut with two episodes on Friday, November 29th, streaming and on-demand for Paramount+ subscribers on the Paramount+ with Showtime plan ahead of its on-air debut. The title will be released exclusively on Paramount+ internationally in the UK, Canada, Australia, Italy, Germany, Latin America and Brazil.

The thriller series stars Michael Fassbender as Martian, an undercover CIA agent who is ordered to give up his undercover life and return to the London train station. When the love he left behind resurfaces, romance reignites. His career, his true identity, and his mission are at odds with his heart; They both become embroiled in a deadly game of international intrigue and espionage.

The cast also includes series regulars Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, Katherine Waterston, John Magaro, Alex Reznik and Andrew Brooke, Harriet Sansom Harris, India Fowler, Saura Lightfoot-Leon, Reza Brojerdi and Richard Gere. Hugh Bonneville is a guest star. The returning cast includes Adam Nagaitis, Ambreen Razia, Bilal Hasna, David Harewood, Kurt Egyiawan, Ray BLK, Sabrina Wu and Tom Vaughan-Lawlor.

Created by Eric Rochant, The Bureau of Legends The focus is on the daily lives and tasks of the agents of France’s most important external security service. The focus is on the “Bureau of Legends,” which is responsible for training and supporting covert agents on long-term missions in areas of French interest. These agents, who live under false identities for years, are tasked with identifying and recruiting good intelligence sources.
