Trump’s iPhone wallpaper sparks debate on social media

An eagle-eyed social media user has sparked a discussion after allegedly identifying the wallpaper on former US President Donald Trump’s iPhone. On November 5th, many US citizens will head to their local polling stations to vote in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.

As Election Day approaches, candidates like Donald Trump, 78, and Vice President Kamala Harris, 59, continue to work to win public support. Earlier this month, Harris spoke with Alex Cooper, 30, host of the Call Her Daddy podcast, about women’s rights and giving a voice to the vulnerable.

Meanwhile, Trump visited a McDonald’s restaurant, apparently to work a shift at the fast food chain. The Republican, running for office for the third time, said he wanted to work at McDonald’s because he believed the story about the vice president working there was false.

Harris’ campaign had released an ad claiming that the California-born politician worked at McDonald’s while attending Howard University. Trump insisted his opponent lied without providing evidence, declaring in his video: “I’ve always wanted to work at McDonald’s, I never did.” I’m running against someone who said that but made it up “It turned out to be a completely false story.”

This isn’t the only swipe Trump has taken at his rival recently. Earlier this week, the 45th President collaborated with popular prank YouTubers “Nelk Boys.” In a clip posted to their Instagram profiles, the creators presented Trump with a blank book and claimed it was filled with “Kamala’s greatest achievements.”

Since then, a photo of the Nelk Boys and Trump on the plane has been circulating on social media – not for the reason you might expect. The picture shows them smiling along with an iPhone and a “Make America Great Again” hat on the table in front of them. An X user, formerly known as Twitter, reposted the image, appearing to zoom in on Trump’s iPhone lock screen.

“Of course. The wallpaper on Trump’s phone lock screen is a picture of himself. Not his wife, not his children, not his grandchildren… himself,” the user wrote.
