Exclusive Premiere: Ashley Wineland Releases “Tumbleweed” Video

Ashley Windland premieres her video “Tumbleweed” exclusively at Main Street Media Tennessee. SUBMITTED

After all the love she received with the release of her latest single “Tumbleweed” on September 27th, Ashley Wineland has officially premiered the video for the song via Tennessee-based Main Street Media.

“Tumbleweed” is about a man who confesses his love, but before you know it, he’s tumbling right out of your life because something new and shiny has caught his attention.

She said of the video: “‘Tumbleweed’ was a fun and different story as we tell it from a different perspective.” I don’t play the main character but am more of a narrator. I can’t wait for you to see this visual journey filled with love, heartbreak and everything that happens.”

I was interested in how Wineland gave her an introduction to music. She said: “I have always had a great love for the performing arts and storytelling, especially in front of people.”

She loved singing, dancing and playing the trumpet in her school band. Now that she had additional education and learning opportunities, she wanted to do more.

Wineland began her musical career at the age of 14. Since then she has released three albums including Family business (2016) And Simple life (2020), with a highly anticipated third, I’ll drivereleased ahead of their 2022 national headlining tour. Their dedication, talent and genuine connection with fans have brought them to the top of the music world, featuring them at top TV, radio and magazine covers.

But that’s not all the artist did. She spent her youth as a “desert rat” hiking, quad biking, water skiing, snorkeling and fishing. She is/was always outside and continues to ride and run races. She also knits and crochets to relax while touring.

I was impressed that Winehouse has a degree in film and media studies from Arizona State University (ASU). ASU was one of the first universities to go online, and since she couldn’t tour and go to college, she earned her bachelor’s degree while touring full-time.

The influence of her film background can be seen in her standout music videos on her latest singles, such as the rocking “Heartbreak Boots,” the hardcore “Crank It Up,” and the thoughtful “I’m Going Home.”

And now “Tumbleweed” is both a short film and an epic song.

She explained: “When I write music, I always think of it as if I were making a music video for it. For me, songs play visually in my head. It’s never far-fetched to put a song into a visual format.”

Another thing that piqued my interest was that Carrie Underwood and Underwood’s producer Marti Frederiksen wrote the songs “Heartbreak Boots” and “Crank It Up.” How do you get access to two Carrie Underwood songs in your repertoire?

It turns out that Marti Frederiksen is also Wineland’s producer, who wrote Underwood’s “Undo It” and “Mama’s Song.” He knew Carrie had these songs in her catalog but never used them. Not many singers can do justice to a Carrie Underwood song, but Wineland was up for the job.

Frederiksen told her, “Man, I have some really great songs and I think you would do them such justice. And I would love for them to see the light of day.”

Underwood and her team had to agree and were happy to give it.

“It was such a high level to withstand. “I’m so glad I get to be the one to bring the songs to life and share them with the world,” Wineland said.

Inspired by Gretchen Wilson, Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert, these groundbreaking artists before her all contributed to the design of Ashley Wineland. Her dynamic vocals, infectious sound and lyrical content come together under the same country desert sky.

She looks up to artists who have broken the mold of the typical country artist. Like Wineland, they have the courage to stand behind their beliefs and produce music the way they want.

Ashley is known for her unwavering support of veterans and has sung the national anthem at MLB, NFL, NASCAR and Supercross championships. She recently performed at the 22,000-seat AK Chin Pavilion in Phoenix alongside Aaron Lewis and Eddie Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry for “A Salute to American Vets.”

Her can-do attitude drives her and has earned her a loyal fan base known as “Winelanders.”

Ashley Wineland is a force of nature and the epitome of country music. Just as their boots are firmly rooted in the dirt of Arizona, their music reflects the rugged authenticity of their outdoor lifestyle. With each new musical milestone, she steps up a gear, hands clasped tightly, ready for the next stage of her journey.

Keep up with Wineland on their website, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and all streaming services.
