According to SAPD, a drive-by shooting leaves one man dead and the driver on the run

The shooting occurred in the 3200 block of West Houston Street

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are searching for the person who allegedly drove past a West Side home and began shooting, killing a 20-year-old man.

The victim was at a home in the 3200 block of West Houston Street when a driver in a white SUV pulled over and began shooting from his vehicle just after midnight Friday, according to SAPD.

The driver then fled the scene of the accident, police said.

When officers arrived at the home, the 20-year-old man was found dead. The Bexar County coroner has not yet identified him.

The criminal police are investigating and looking for the suspicious vehicle.
