Fortnite servers will shut down and go offline on October 25th to release patch v31.41

Epic Games will be releasing version 31.41 for Fortnite today, and as with any major update, the game’s servers have been shut down and are now temporarily offline on all platforms.

Is Fortnite not available on October 25th?

Fortnite’s downtime begins at 4am ET/1am PT/4pm HKT. While there is no mention of how long it will take, previous maintenance outages have typically lasted around 2-3 hours.

There’s no word yet on what’s changed, although Epic did announce the following tournament schedule changes:

• R1 and R2 of the Trio Cash Cup will take place on Saturday, October 26th.
• The Reload Platform Cups will take place on Tuesday, October 29th.
