Tallulah’s murder is being investigated by the Louisiana State Police

MADISON PARISH, La. (KNOE) – Louisiana State Police began investigating a homicide in Tallulah after the Madison Parish Sheriff’s Office requested the agency’s assistance on Thursday, Oct. 24.

According to LSP, a person was shot in the 200 block of Thomas Street around 6 p.m. LSP adds that while investigators were on scene, gunshots were heard nearby around 8 p.m. However, no one was injured.

State police will lead the investigation and MPSO will assist.
