Highway Patrol is investigating officer-involved shooting in Camden County

COLUMBIA, Missouri (KMIZ)

The Camden County Sheriff’s Office said Friday that the Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating a police officer-involved shooting.

Sergeant. Scott Hines of the sheriff’s office provided few details but said the deputy was involved in Friday morning’s shooting. The police Drug and Crime Division is investigating and is expected to release more information later Friday, he wrote in an email.

Hines did not disclose the time or location of the shooting.
