Cyclones reveal 2025 gymnastics schedule

AMES, Iowa – Head coach Ashley Miles Greig has announced the team’s full schedule for the upcoming 2025 season, highlighted by five home games.

“The schedule is exciting, balanced and competitive and will provide the conditions for this team to continue to develop into a championship-caliber program,” said coach Miles Greig.

The Cyclones begin their 2025 season with a road trip to defending champion LSU on Jan. 3 to ring in the new year.

Cyclone Nation will get to meet the 2025 team at home for the first time on Jan. 10 when the Cyclones host both Iowa and Brown for a three-game meet.

The Cyclones then travel to Utah for two exciting encounters. First, Iowa State will open Big 12 play at Utah on Jan. 17 before staying in the Beehive State to compete again in the Wasatch Classic on Jan. 20.

ISU closes out the month of January with two home games, starting with Simpson on the 24th as part of the return of Beauty and the Beast. The final meeting of the month is January 31st in the home conference opener against Arizona State.

In February, the Cyclones close out their conference, with two away meetings and another pair at home. The month begins with a Sunday showdown in West Virginia (Feb. 9) before the team then travels west to Arizona (Feb. 14).

After two road games, the Cyclones return to the Hilton Coliseum facilities for their final two home games of the season. Iowa State welcomes BYU to Ames on February 21st and then closes out the month with a home tri-meet featuring Denver and NC State on February 28th.

March begins with the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series meet in Iowa City on the 7th before moving on to the regular season finale – a quad meet at Nebraska. The Nebraska Quad takes place on March 15 and includes the Huskers, Temple and Texas Women’s.

ISU then turns its attention to the postseason as it will compete in the Big 12 Championship on March 22. Postseason action continues into April when the NCAA Regional begins on April 2nd.

The Cyclones, who finished 2024 ranked No. 29 on the Road to Nationals, are looking to build on the momentum gained in their first season under coach Miles Greig.
