No student-involved shootings reported near Fort Worth HS – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

No students were involved in a shooting near a high school or elementary school Friday afternoon, according to Fort Worth police.

Police confirmed that the shooting occurred shortly before 2 p.m. near Eastern Hills High School and not far from Eastern Hills Elementary, but that it did not occur at the school or in the school parking lots.

No students appeared to be involved in the shooting, and police said there were no reports of injuries to anyone in the schools.

Fort Worth police said neighborhood patrol officers had been in the area since 11:30 a.m. on a separate call and were still in the area when the shooting occurred around 1:49 p.m

Police have not confirmed any further details about the shooting.
