First District Debate: Bohannan vs. Miller-Meeks

Just a few quick comments:

Miller-Meeks was just a small cog in MAGA politics in the U.S. House of Representatives. The current Congress has done almost nothing, and Miller-Meeks fits right in. She votes as she is told and does little to nothing to help the average Iowan.

My impression of this debate is that Miller-Meeks often twists her answers on most questions to the point of splitting hairs. It is particularly sensitive when it comes to abortion. Christina Bohannan answers directly. In an election where integrity is key, Bohannan’s integrity shines through as we see Miller-Meeks attempt to confuse and obfuscate.

If Miller-Meeks is back in office, she will support tax cuts for the rich, cuts to Social Security and a nationwide ban on abortion.

If Bohannan takes the seat, I think we can expect her to work for Iowa farmers and working Iowans. She will advocate for women and the disabled. In short, Christina Bohannan will work for the people.
