Montgomery police identify two victims of Friday’s double shooting

Police have identified two Montgomery men who died in a shooting early Friday.

According to Montgomery police, at approximately 1:57 a.m., firefighters and police officers responded to a suspected shooting victim in the 500 block of North Eastern Boulevard. Jeroderick Bell, 29, and Devin Ligon, 30, were found at the scene suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Bell and Ligon were taken to a hospital where they were pronounced dead, police said.

Police believe the shooting was an isolated incident between people who knew each other.
