Singer forgets she’s live during national anthem

There have been countless mistakes during the national anthem over the years, often at sporting events. But it’s not just sporting events that can go wrong. Sometimes they are political debates.

On Wednesday, public broadcaster CSPAN broadcast a Los Angeles Free and Equal Elections Foundation debate featuring presidential candidates Chase Oliver (Libertarian), Jill Stein (Green) and Randall Terry (Constitution). However, since Republican candidate Donald Trump and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris did not attend (both were invited), the event did not attract much attention at the time. On Saturday, however, it got a second life on X.

This was thanks to CSPAN communications director Howard Mortman, who released a video of singer Loomis’ national anthem. This included missing her cue on “The Red Glow of the Rocket” and immediately saying, “I messed up, I messed up, can I go back, can I go back please,” she was told “You can’t do that.” We’re live,” and things have to go from there.
