Celebrate National First Responders Day with a free meal | Community

BOSSIER CITY, La. – Louisiana Downs Racetrack and Casino will honor the men and women who protect and serve our communities with a free meal on Monday from noon to 6 p.m

Louisiana Downs is offering all active first responders a free country-roasted steak meal at the track’s Inside Rail restaurant. If active first responders prefer a meal other than country-fried steak, they will receive a 30% discount on that menu item. You must show proof of service or be in uniform to receive the free meal or discount. Each first responder can only receive one free or reduced-price meal.

“This is a small gesture from us to say thank you for everything they do,” said Kevin Preston, president of Louisiana Downs. “Every day they put their lives on the line to make sure we are safe.”
