Bronny James creates excitement in the defeat of the Lakers against Clipper

Even with all the sports present and although they looked at a kind of rivalry between the Lakers and Clipper, the fans in the Thomas & Mack Center were still largely in love with Bronny James.

This is the type of drawing power that James himself and his father LeBron James had observed from his base seats. This is the kind of draw that James himself had with Steve Ballmer, Tyronn Lue, JJ Redick and Rob Pelinka.

Even with Austin Reaves, Deandre Ayton and Kawhi Leonard, Bronny James was again the focus of attention.

James had one of his better NBA Summer League games, but it was the clipper who came against the top in Nevada Las Vegas on Monday evening.

James had 17 points, five rebounds and five assists in 24 minutes and 17 seconds.

He was six for 10 from the field and three for five out of three points.

And yes, he was happy to support the support of his family and teammates.

“I definitely gave me a little boost and saw her and my teammates cheer,” said James. “It's great to get to the gym with you.”

The star of the night was the striker Jordan Miller, 19 points and seven rebounds, a big reason why the clipper in the summer league are 3-0.

His three pointer at the end of the fourth quarter gave the Clipper a tour that they had never lost. He scored nine of the last 11 points of the Clipper.

“We did it,” said Clipper co -trainer Jeremy Castleberry, the team's summer league coach. “We did it. We did what we had to do, the second night of a back back. For many of these boys, it was the first back-to-back player played in a row. So, glad that we did it.”

James started strongly and turned a three pointer to open the goal. He added a step backwards of three in the second quarter, these two shots were part of his 12 points in the first half with four for four shots.

In the fourth quarter he made a three pointer, the score 51-51 band.

“Yes, I can certainly see growth,” said James. “To be honest, I only have the feeling that my self -confidence has grown in the past year and a half or so. So I will just grow on it and make my mind right.”

The Lakers shot 34.4% only from the field, 30% from three -point range and 38.5% from the free sausage line (five for 13). They also turned the ball over 19 times.

Laker's assistant coach Lindsey Harding said that the team showed signs of “fatigue” what it expected in view of what was their sixth summer game (they played three games at the California Classic in San Francisco).

“It only seemed as if we didn't have much pop,” said Harding, the coach of the Lakers Summer League.

But not James. He seemed to be energetic about the entire game.

“Bronny got ready. He was ready. He had his spark,” said Harding. “You want these boys, especially him in this position and who he will be with the Lakers with us, if you get your minutes, go hard. Play to exhaustion, we will take them out and then we will use them again. I thought that he did it today.

“He did a great job, even at the offensive ending to find players, and did it with pick-and-roller reads. I think you have problems guarding him, and he did a great job at a defensive end.”

But James wasn't the only one who had excited the fans.

Clipper Rookie Yanic Konan Niederhauser threw an evil Dunk on Cole Swider in the third quarter, who got the crowd on his feet.

Niederhauser had another strong excursion for the Clippers with 10 points, two rebounds and two steals in 23 minutes.
