Several legislation supported by President Donald Trump in connection with cryptocurrencies could not remove any important procedural hurdle in the House of Representatives of representatives on Tuesday, which had a big blow to the crypto industry.

The final vote on the rule was 196-223, with 13 Republicans voted with Democrats to block the procedural application. The measure can only go forward if the house approves the rule that regulates the debate about legislation.

The vote -which was invoiced during what was charged as a “crypto week”, was a rare case of House Republicans who refused to take the instruction. The measures were generally expected to clarify the house.

Trump welcomed “Crypto Week” about his truth -social social and asked all Republicans of the house on Tuesday to choose “yes” through the measure.

“The house will soon vote on an enormous calculation in order to make America the undisputed, number one leader in digital assets – nobody does better!” Trump wrote.

“The ingenious act will be our great nation of Lightyears ahead of China, Europe and everyone else who endlessly try to catch up, but they just can't do it,” he wrote.

“Digital assets are the future, and we are going to get the first vote this afternoon (all Republicans should vote yes!)”, Trump continued.
