AG Bondi says that her position on Epstein does not make a change after Trump suggests that she could publish more files

Attorney General Pam Bondi said on Tuesday that the memo of the past week “speaks for himself” the publication of files on the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and rejects questions about the public awareness of further documents.

“Today our memo speaks for itself and we will report to you about everything else,” Bondi told reporters on Tuesday and answered questions about President Donald Trump's earlier comment that Bondi “does not believe that she believes”.

On Tuesday in the White House, Trump said that he was behind Bondi and answered a question about his daughter -in -law Lara Trump that there had to be “more transparency” with regard to the examination of Epstein.

“The Attorney General treated this very well … did a really good job,” said Trump.

“I would also like to see that,” added the president in an obvious reference to the call for more transparency. “But I think the Attorney General – the credibility is very important and you want credible evidence of something like that, and I think the Attorney General dealt with it very well.”

In addition, Trump said that Bondi had not told him that his name appeared in the Epstein files despite previous allegations from former ally Elon Elon Elon Musk.

“No, no, she only gave a very fast briefing,” said Trump to reporters.

Bondi's comments came to the drug authority during a press conference, in which the law enforcement agencies of 64,000 pound methamphetamines – including those in pills – were highlighted in drug busts since January. Some happened on July 4th.

Although the increase in drugs such as meth pills is a national threat-and drug cases for the Attorney General is of particular importance-it was not enough to distract attention from the Epstein controversy.

The department wants to change the current conversation about Epstein, tell Sources CNN and prioritize Bondi in front of cameras to discuss other Trump priorities such as the drug busts discussed on Tuesday. Their hope is that despite the enormous amount of counter -reactions that the Department of Trump's own supporters are exposed to, the controversy will let up.

This showed up during the event on Tuesday, as a reporter repeated as a reporter and her relationship with the FBI director Kash Patel and the deputy director Dan Bongino. Bondi repeatedly said that she would not answer any questions about this matter.

Bondi said that you, Patel and Bongino are “all obliged”, to fight as a team to achieve priorities of the Trump government like reducing violent crimes.

“I will be here as long as the president wants me here, and I think he made it clear that it was four years,” said Bondi about the drama and later demands for her resignation.

“Well, now three and a half, right?” she said.

Trump was also asked in the White House whether he has confidence in Bongino, whose CNN reported that he got into conflict with Bondi about the publication of files in connection with the Epstein examination.

“I like Dan Bongino,” said Trump.
