54-year-old Michael Bernard Bell is expected to receive a fatal injection in the Florida State Prison near Strong, apart from a last-day task. He was convicted of the murders of Jimmy West and Tamecka Smith and sentenced to death for the murders of Jimmy West and Tamecka.

At five months a year in 2025, the total number of executions in 2024 and 2018. The number of executions largely trends down in 1999 according to the top value of 98 in 1999. From 1995 to 2006 there were an average of around 67 versions per year.

John Blume, the director of the Cornell death penalty project, says that the increase in executions should not be associated with a change in public support for the death penalty or an increase in the deaths, but rather the function of the discretion of the governors of the state.

“Some of these people who are being executed are people who have been in the system for a long time. They have long been in the death cell,” said Blume, adding that there are aggressive managers and generals who want to carry out these people.

He pointed out a comprehensive executive regulation that Donald Trump signed in office on his first day in order to request the prosecutors to apply for the death penalty and to preserve the capital penalty in the states.

“The most cynical view would be: it seems to be important to the president, so it is important for her,” said Blume from the governors.

Ted Veerman, spokesman for the Florida Ministry of Justice, said on Tuesday that the department was well prepared to fulfill their duty, as they were assigned by the courts and the governor.

Bell would be the eighth person who was killed in Florida this year, and a ninth player is planned for later this month. The state carried out six people in 2023, but only one last year.

Florida has carried out more people this year than in any other state, with Texas and South Carolina each took second place. Alabama carried out three people; Oklahoma killed two; And Arizona, Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee killed one.

In December 1993, Bell discovered what he thought was the man's car, who, according to court files, shot his brother fatally at the beginning of this year. Bell was apparently not aware that the man had sold the car to west.

Bell called two friends and armed himself with an AK-47 rifle, the authorities said. They found the car in front of a spirits lounge and waited. When West, Smith and another woman finally left the club, Bell approached the car and opened the fire, said officials.

West died at the crime scene and Smith died on the way to the hospital. The other woman escaped an injury. Witnesses said Bell also shot a lot of spectators before fled in front of the area. He was finally arrested next year.

Bell was later convicted of three additional murders. In 1989 he killed a woman and her toddler son and killed his friend's friend about four months before the attack on the west and Smith, said official.

Prison officers said Bell woke up on Tuesday at 6.30 a.m. and ate his last meal, which was an omelet, bacon, fries and orange juice. He met with a spiritual consultant, but had no other visitors.

The Supreme Court of the United States asked Bells to remain the execution on Tuesday.

In her registration, his lawyers argued that Bell should be hired for newly discovered evidence of testimony. But the judges unanimously rejected the argument last week and pointed out overwhelming evidence of Bell's guilt in a 54-page opinion.
