1 unbelievable reason to buy Costco shares before September fourth in September fourth

What makes Costco worth his premium evaluation? New sales data show that the retailer opposes the economic headwind.

Warehouse dealer Costco (COST -0.95%))) Goes through in the fourth quarter of the 2025 financial year. The financial report will probably be reported in the last week of September – and you may want to pick up a few Costco shares beforehand.

You see Costco's sales rise despite a chopped -up economy – and the growth drivers could surprise you.

The monthly sales exhibition Costco's Impuls Building

In rare voluntary transparency, Costco reports basic sales results every month. The results in May showed that a sales increase for 6.8% compared to the previous year at $ 21 billion. This is a robust result compared to Costco sales profits in the third quarter and in the context of 2.9% sales growth for the arch -rival even better Walmart in the same period.

Last week, Costco reported a sale of $ 26.4 billion. This is a jump of 8% compared to June 2024 and accelerates the already healthy sales growth of Costco.

Broad success in a narrow economy

The fun doesn't stop here. As expected, e-commerce was the fastest growing segment of Costco in June. But it was not the most important provider of business acceleration, since the rate of online sales growth actually slowed down a tiny piece from May to June.

At the same time, the revenue accelerated in the USA and faster in Canada. None of these increasing key figures could compete with the other international sales of Costco, which increased by 10.9% compared to the previous year. This is an amazing improvement of 6.6% in May.

Despite weak consumer confidence, Costco enjoys robust growth in all segments. This is the incredible reason why Costco looks like a purchase today.

Premium prices for a premium retailer

Costco's share is not cheap. The shares are traded with the high rating of 55.6 times and the 59.5 times Free Cashflow. These are some of the highest multiples in the entire sector of consumer staples shares.

However, you get what you pay for. Costco is a professionally managed retailer who holds surprising investors. Do not secure the proverbial truck, but I recommend taking a few Costco shares before the full Q4 2025 report from September. The sales updates show in a shareholder-friendly direction.
