Arrest when shooting deaths by 'American Idol' Music Supervisor Robin Kaye and her husband Thomas Deluca in Encino Home

Encino, Los Angeles (KABC) – There was an arrest in the fatal shooting of a long -standing, award -winning “American Idol” music supervisor and her husband in her house in multimillions in Encino.

In an explanation that was presented on ABC7 on Tuesday afternoon, a spokesman for the TV series of the ABC Singing Competition confirmed the death of Robin Kaye and her husband Thomas Deluca.

“We are destroyed to hear from Robin and her dear husband Tom,” said the statement of “American Idol”. “Robin has been a cornerstone of the 'Idol' family since 2009 and was really loved and respected by everyone who has come into contact with her. Robin will stay in our hearts forever and we share our deepest sympathy with her family and friends during this difficult time.”

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the officials answered at a request for a social check in the house in the White Oak Avenue around 2:30 p.m. Then they found the two victims with several gunshot wounds.

Man who was arrested in the double murder of Encino

The suspect was identified as 22-year-old Raymond Boodarian von Reseda. Detectives believe that he has no relationship with the victims. He was supposedly broken into the residence while the couple came home and he shot it during a fight.

Sources indicate ABC News that there is no evidence that he has to do with burglary rings and has worked with no other. They believe that it was an isolated event. The police say that the suspect has no break -in in the past, but he has a criminal record.

Lt. Guy Gulon said that Boodarian was identified with the facial recognition technology with a surveillance video outside the residence and some other forensic evidence found on site.

According to the LAPD, he was arrested on Tuesday at 3 p.m. on Tuesday in his house in Vanowen Street.

The police authority in Los Angeles delivered an update to a double murder at a press conference on Tuesday afternoon.

Timetry of the crime

Detective believes that the murder took place on Thursday, July 10th, when LAPD received two views of a possible slump against the address in which someone was seen how someone hopped a fence.

The officials responded to the service on this day, but could not get in, since the house is heavily enriched according to the police. They saw no signs of burglary on the ground, and a helicopter that flew above them saw no signs of a burglary, so they left the scene.

The scene remained unaffected until the officials were called back to the residence on Monday, July 14th to receive a welfare check after family members had not heard anything from the couple for days.

A beloved person met them at home and gave them a key code to get into the goal. Officers then set out by shattering a rear window after watching some signs of difficulties inside.

Air7 video shows the broken glass sliding door in the house.

Inside they found the couple dead with several gunshot wounds. They were both declared dead at the scene. ABC News announced that the victims were shot in separate rooms in the house.

The police later received a surveillance video in which the suspect entered the house in the afternoon of July 10th. The video shows that the suspect was in the house for about 30 minutes before the couple came home and confronted him, said Lapd. Then they were shot.

The police say that the suspect had not forced admission and found an open path inside instead. The house was not searched, and it is unclear what, if at all, was taken from home, said Lapd.

The 22-year-old suspect was arrested on Tuesday afternoon without incidents. The murder weapon had not been found for the last check.

Reaction of neighbors and community

“You are a nice couple. Really nice people,” said Mauro Quintero, who has cleaned the couple's pool every Tuesday in the past two years. He appeared to work on Tuesday and learned about the news.

Quintero says that this is not the first time that her home has been targeted by burglars.

“I came out more than a month ago and the guy came out and told me that someone brings in and they have little dogs, and the dogs continue to bark, he wakes up and people run away,” said Quintero.

LAPD is now investigating whether this previous incident is connected to the fatal burglary shooting.

The inhabitant Tim Pingel drove past and livestream when the police reacted to the reported burglary on July 10th.

“I wish they had worked much more difficult to get into it. It was a code that three calls for an armed suspect with a weapon inside. The police did not really try to get in, which is actually a bit annoying and involved,” said Pingel.

“We didn't see anything.” And I have no idea whether it was related or not. They came and went, the helicopters and the police came. And I heard from my other neighbor that the police came yesterday to do a wellness check, and the family said they hadn't heard of them in four days. “

“Unimaginable, but it only shows you how much security you have here, if you want to get in, you will get in,” said neighbor Eric Partovich.

“In the past we thought that this was one of the last parts of the city. You know, I hurled the crime through the valley. Sherman Oaks was beautiful 20 years ago and it looks bad, and now Encino seems to be next,” said Pingel.
