Ben Healy is one of the best young bicycle racing drivers of his generation. The 24-year-old, who was born and grew up near Birmingham, is proud of his Irish roots. It is an honor to wear Bratach Na Héireann Stripes as the former national champion of the Irish road race.

The 2023 season was Bens Breakout Year. After winning the GP Industria & Artigianato and a stage in Coppi e Bartali, he finished second at Brabantse Pijl and second place at the Amstel Gold Race. And then he went and won a stage in the Giro d'Italia with a 50 km long solo. Ben followed in 2024 with a stage victory on the tour through Slovenia and an inspired Tour de France, which, like never before, climbing his teammates. He rolled more motivated in 2025 than ever and ended his spring with a huge solo stage victory in the Basque Country of Itzulia, third place at Libastogne-Liège, fourth with Strade Bianche as well as top ten near La Flèche Wallonne and in the Gold Race Amstel. He won the 6th stage of the 2025 Tour de France with a breathtaking solo attack and then drove in yellow in level 10.

Results like this are proof of its persistence.

Ben praised his own way to the Pro ranks. When he was five years old, he drove on his local route. When he grew up, he was there every Sunday morning to train and run. But his first love was mountain biking. That meant to hold out from the established route for a young bicycle racing driver in Great Britain. Ben broke out of the academy and decided to do it alone.

Racing Mountain Bikes and Road Bikes In smaller teams, he soon had stage victories in the Giro Ciclistico d'Italia and in the Ronde de l'Sard to his name as well as the Irish street and time driver championship title. In 2019, Ben became the youngest winner of a stage at the Tour de L'Avenir.

Ben loves to get involved in breaking and surprise his rivals with his daring attacks. Like everyone else, he is in the peloton and always searches for the latest advantage.

Apart from the races, Ben likes big cities and depends on his friends and his dog Olive in Andorra.
