The Seattle (SFD) fire department made the first announcement on social media shortly after 8 a.m.

According to the authorities, the Battery Street is blocked between the second and fourth possibilities when the crews evacuate on site by a gas leak. The Third Avenue between Bell and Wall Street is also blocked.

The SFD asks the public to avoid the area and look for alternative routes.
