Tomorrowland stage catches fire, days before the Edm Music Festival catches fire

According to the local police, first aiders fought for a massive fire that broke out on the main stage of Tomorrowland in Belgium.

The flame broke out just a few days before the Belgian Edm Music Festival, which attracts tens of thousands every year, on Friday, July 18, in the city of Boom.

Firefighters and law enforcement agencies were on site and tried to prevent the fire from spreading further, the local police reported on Wednesday, July 16, shortly before 7:30 p.m. local time on Facebook.

The fire broke out on the festival site, wrote the police and added: “All emergency services are on site. Please give them the entire room.”

“The cloud drives around in the direction of Gemeente,” the police wrote in the post office. “Those who experience the odor removal, the best tight windows, doors and ventilation systems.”

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.

USA TODAY has contacted Tomorrowland.

Video recordings on social media show big flames from the stage and black smoke that whiten up into the air. Photos published by the GVA based by Belgium showed that the staged were effectively destroyed.

It was not immediately known whether the fire would cancel or delay the festival.

Who will appear in Tomorrowland in 2025?

The music festival will begin and run on Friday, July 18th, according to the Tomorrowland website until Sunday, July 20th.
