A jury of the municipality of Lafayette condemned a murder man in Carencro and other charges in connection with the death of a seven -year -old girl in January 2023.

Daniel James Boudreax Jr., 51, was convicted this week.

The child, which is only identified by their initials by prosecutors, died of acute fentanyl toxicity.
