A Spanish government officer asked for an investigation of the 18th birthday party of Barcelona star Lamine Yamal after a prominent group of disabled activists said that the organizers of the event “only hired people to entertain and attractions” in contradiction against Spanish law.

The association of people with achondroplasia and other skeletal dysplasia in Spain (ADEE) said in an explanation that she “appeals to the attitude of people with dwarfs as entertainment”.

“We will take measures on legal and social channels,” added the adee.

ADEE President Carolina Puente added in the explanation: “In the 21st century, it is unacceptable that people with dwarf cars are still used as an amusement in private parties, and even worse if they affect public figures such as Lamine Yamal.

Jesús Martín Blanco, General Director of the rights of people with disabilities in the Spanish Ministry of Social Rights, said Europa Press that he “asked the responsible authorities to open the necessary investigations to determine what happened”.

Martín Blanco said that the attitude of people with dwarf guards on private parties is something that the actors “objectified” and “(we) in times, in the Middle Ages”.

“We are worried that a well -known person who can have such an impact on young people uses these people in such a harmful way for a private party,” added Martín Blanco.

Martín Blanco added that he had contacted the Attorney General and the National Office of the fight against hate crimes in order to investigate the matter.

“As adults with Achondroplasia, which are generally known as a problem, we have our own voice, our own judgment and the full ability to make decisions about our personal and professional life,” the explanation says.

“We are neither part of this association nor were we consulted or asked for our opinions before we issue public accusations that affect us directly.”

The couple added that they “were deeply invited to have been invited to this event,” and “we reject any proposal that we were mocked or used, emphatically, as was publicly claimed without evidence”.

“It was a professional and human experience in which we were treated with respect,” said that they keep the right to take legal action against all attempts to damage their reputation.
