The author of Maine emphasizes motivation, culture and hope in the new children's book

Bangor, Maine (Wabi) – An author of Maine has published a new book to inspire, motivate and train readers.

After writing her first novel in 2020 after recovery, she wants people to understand that there is always a way forward.

Melody Paul wrote her memoirs in 2020 and quoted her life experiences and fights on the way to recovery.

A few years ago, Paul received the news that her friend had died.

The next day she should pick up a new family puppy called Buster.

At the time, she didn't know how her little milk would help her lose her dear friend.

“This little puppy makes it so much easier, and then I realized that I call it that as a therapy dog,” said Paul ”

“That's why people have dogs.”

The book “Buster and the Little Fairies” was born after working with her illustrator Tiana Mette.

The story shows a young boy who finds a puppy in the forest who only reacted to his mother tongue.

In the American indigenous folklore, it believes that small beings or small fairies helped fish, hunting, plants and safety of the native.

A diversification of hope is what Buster made available to the boy and his family, just like Paul's dog did for her.

“I didn't want to get stuck anymore and wanted to continue and continue my work,” said Paul.

She did exactly that.

The book contains Mi'kmaq words that are included in the text to help others learn something about culture.

Now she not only writes more, but also voluntarily, organizes writing workshops and focuses on the community that she has surrounded with support.

She hopes whoever reads the book, adult or child will see the real message.

Life can beat hard and sometimes. It is not easy to find the right way, but these little fairies always come through, sprinkle a little love and hope that they will help them get forward.

“In recovery, I have the feeling that if I had not done the service work, the non -profit service I take part in, I wouldn't be where I would return because I would give something back,” said Paul.

Those who want to observe a copy will be published in a few weeks in which a edited version is published.
