Cut chiefs Justyn Ross – NBC Sports

The chiefs open the training camp without a broad recipient Justyn Ross.

According to Tom Pelissero from the NFL Network, Ross is not asked for his release.

As a newcomer to Clemson in 2018, Ross looked like the next superstar recipient of the football, who received a total of 1,000 yards in the season and got six passes for 153 yards and a touchdown in Clemson's victory over Alabama in College Football Playoff National Championship game. But Ross' Freshman season remains his career highlight.

Ross took a step backwards in 2019 with a less impressive season, missed the entire 2020 season with a spine injury and did not return the same player in 2021. Ross became unhindered in 2022.

After Ross signed the chiefs as an unable rookie, he has spent the past three years in Kansas City, but has not played much with just six career. Now he will search for a new place to play.
