Marble Falls Gasleck closes part of us 281

Austin, Texas – The crews in Marble Falls work to repair what the city describes as a “big” gas leak.

The gas leak caused the closure of US 281 between FM 1431 and Broadway Street. Barricades were built, and no traffic is not permitted in the area concerned.

City officials say, Marble Falls Fire Rescue, the police authority of Marmor Falls and Atmos Energy are all on site in which the situation is evaluated. The same area of the street remains closed for a longer period of time, as the crews work to repair the leak.

People are encouraged to avoid the area because the repairs to the leak have not yet been completed.
