A day later, dozens of people outside the modest cabin, in which Welch and his partner lived the river in Texas over the Guadalupe until 4th July.

The restoration of Texas could take six months, says Sheriff

Larry Leitha, Sheriff of Kerr County, said the crews could continue up to six months after the fatal floods on independence.

“I think we will still become strong for a month or two, up to six months that end,” said Leitha.

More than 2,000 people help the search efforts.

The crews took a break on Sunday when the Guadalupe river continued due to heavy rain.

“Emergency management is a process and you take it one step after the other and you work one step after the other,” added Leitha.

Kerrville City Councilor calls for security

A member of the Kerrville city council asked for local officials to be given additional security because they receive threats in Kerr County after the floods on July 4.

“We not only deal with all the consequences of this tragic event, but now have to take care of threats that come to the staff,” said Brenda Hughes on Monday at a city council meeting. “I want me to wish for additional security here and I don't go here until we get it.”

The meeting on Monday was the first since the floods.

At least 101 people still miss

In central texas, 101 people are still missing, said governor Greg Abbott on Monday.

Missed in and around Kerr County, said Governor Greg Abbott. In Travis County there are also three people, and one person is missing in Williamson County, said the governor.

At least 131 people were killed by the floods in the region.

Trump approves the request to calculate more Texas counties for disaster relief

President Donald Trump approved an inquiry to design more in Texas in Texas counties after having entitled the municipalities along the Guadalupe River on July 4 on July 4th.

With the new addition of Burnet, Llano, Mason, McCulloch and Tom Green, 10 counties are now approved for the Fema Public Assistance program.
