Malcolm Simmons arrested – On3

Auburn Sophomore Wide Receiver Malcolm Simmons was arrested in Lee County.

The 20 -year -old Simmons is charged according to the Sheriff office of the Lee County Sheriff. It was booked on Wednesday evening at 6.20 p.m. CST with a defined bond of $ 20,000.

The former four-star recipient signed with Auburn from Alexander City, Ala as part of class 2024. In his first season, Simmons played a key role as a return specialist and as a recipient.

He recorded 451 yards on 40 receptions with three touchdowns in his first season.

Simmons is the second Auburn player who was arrested this month because the former Linebacker DJ Barber was arrested on July 7 for drug trafficking. The hairdresser was rejected from the team two days later.
