New York-Breanna Stewart had 24 points, 11 rebounds and seven templates to help New York Liberty on Wednesday evening against the Indiana Fever to a 98-77 victory that played without Star Guard Caitlin Clark.

Clark missed the game after injuring Connecticut in Boston on Tuesday evening in the last minute of the game on Tuesday evening. Clark has a busy weekend because Indiana organizes the WNBA All-Star game and is supposed to compete on the 3-point competition and is captain of one of the two teams.

Sabrina Ionescu, who will also take part in the 3-point competition, added 15 points and nine templates for freedom (15-6).

Stewart brought the freedom to a strong start when they led after a quarter 32-24 and had risen on half at 3 p.m. The all-star striker of Liberty had 13 points, nine rebounds and five assists through the break.

New York put the game behind Stewart in the third quarter, whose three-point game with 3:57, left, 71-48 to the delight of 17,371. The fever could only reach the rest of the path within 15 years.

Kelsey Mitchell led Indiana (12-11) with 16 points. The fever fell 4: 6 when Clark missed a regular game of the season this season.

New York was still missing the Star Center Jonquel Jones. She said she planned to come back after the All Star break on Tuesday for the first game of Liberty, which is also against Indiana. She has been out of the way with a bricked -up ankle for about a month.
