Man who was arrested in the large block party for shot death

Braron, Miss. (WLBT) – Beams of the Brandon Police Department have arrested Ryan Mosley, 31, in connection with the death of Roshad Collier (29) at Mary Myles Drive.

The shootout on June 21 occurred during a large block party in the 200 Block of Mary Myles Drive. The officials who reacted to the scene found that two men had been transported over a private vehicle to earn health ranks in order to receive treatment for gunshot wounds.

Collier, one of the victims, later succumbed to his injuries, while the second person, Mosley, was arrested from medical care after his release.

Mosley was charged with a firearm for murder and criminal criminal. After Mosley had been custody, he was taken to the Rankin County prison.

His bond was set at 1,000,000 US dollars and his future hearing before the Brandon Municipal Court is still pending.

“This arrest represents the commitment of our department for the persecution of justice and the guarantee of the security of our community. We are grateful for the hard work and the persistence of our investigators to bring this violent perpetrator into custody,” said Joseph French, chief of police from Brandon.
