The man is guilty in Anderson Co. in 2023

Anderson County, SC (Fox Carolina) – The General Prosecutor's office in South Carolina reports that a man guilty a gender crime in Anderson County.

Anderson County's office said 28-year-old Michael Goldhammer had hit a 14-year-old online in a social media app and planned to meet.

The MPs said that Goldhammer allegedly traveled from Florida to Pennsylvania when he stopped in Anderson County to meet the middle school student. He was taken into custody in August 2023.

Goldhammer owed himself guilty that in July 2025 to make criminal sexual behavior with a minor and a criminal request of a minor too guilty.

Officials report that a judge sentenced him to six years in prison and convicted the time already issued in prison. He also has to register as a sex offender after being released.
