Paige Bueckers shows her true colors like Diana Taurasis Mini-Me at Espys

Diana Taurasi was honored on Wednesday evening as one of the two recipients next to the football legend Alex Morgan as one of the two recipients.

Taurasi announced her retirement from the WNBA in February after 20 seasons in the league. She will undoubtedly be one of the best players in the history of the league. And it has a big influence on the next generation of basketball players, including this year's No. 1 Pick Paige Bueckers.

Taurasi and Bueckers have developed a preference for each other, and the WNBA rookie was included in the tribut video of Taurasi when she accepted the espy on Wednesday evening. Bueckers added a funny joke about one of the large properties that she looked at from Taurasi about her career.

“Dee itself is not apologetically,” said Bueckers in a predetermined video. “Dee, because of you I can be an Ah and be proud of it.”

This is a compliment for Taurasi.

Bueckers also recognized itself in Taurasi, which is certain. Taurasi previously said in an interview that Bueckers in her opinion “will be the best player in the league”. For someone who is often seen as a goat of the WNBA, this is a rather high praise to the beginner.

If only the two would play together on the WNBA dish.
