The flood clock continues, tropical rains are expected

The flood guard continues for most of the area of view, until Friday evening for the possibility of heavy downpours and localized flooding of roads.

What to know?

The most important highlights are that there is no wind and there are no concerns of river flooding. We could see a general two to four inch rain.

Tropical development opportunities

We are now on a low 30% probability of a tropical development at 93l, which either only remain deep or briefly become depression if it moves ashore in Louisiana tonight.

Flood outlook

Today there is still a moderate risk of excessive precipitation, mainly in the southwest of Baton Rouge. In some places, street flooding can be possible, but no river floods.

Today there is an opportunity of 80% on showers/storms, with rain, but not much wind. Hochs are only kept in chess in the 80s.

The forecast requires a general to three inch rain with heavier amounts towards the south to the coast via the i-10 corridor.
