CBP emphasizes the milestones of border security that can be reached today in June 2025 HS

Us Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has published final operational statistics for June 2025, in which important enforcement metrics in core missions, including the interdiction of border security and narcotics, were emphasized.

Below you will find a snapshot of June's most important numbers:

Border enforcement

CBP reported that overall encounters and fears reached historical lows in June. According to the agency:

  • A total of 25,228 encounters were recorded nationwide – the lowest monthly total in CBP history.
  • 8,024 US border patrol over the country marked a new historical low.
  • 6,072 Fears on the southwestern border, a decrease of 15% compared to the previous March record.
  • 136 Fears on June 28th, the lowest one -day total number of the agency.
  • No probation workers were reported in June in June, compared to 27,766 in June 2024.

Drug attacks

CBP also reported over a month against the month of pharmaceutical improvements, with seizures accepted in June in June compared to May:

  • The seizures of fentanyl were 742 pounds, an increase of 3%.
  • Methamphetamine fits rose by 102%.
  • Heroin attacks rose by 19%.
  • Cocaine attacks rose by 9%.

The data from CBP reflect the continuous enforcement efforts in entry ports and along the border, including the efforts to disturb antitrust -controlled smuggling operations.
