The former Line Backer from Houston Texans and Philadelphia Eagles Bryan Braman died on Thursday, after treating a rare aggressive form of cancer this year, his agent. He was 38.

Braman had subjected several operations during the treatment in Seattle, according to a Gofundme page that helps him with the expenses. Cancer was diagnosed in Braman in February.

Agent Sean Stellato confirmed Braman's death on Thursday and noticed that Braman had two daughters aged 11 and 8.

The Gofundme for Braman collected more than 88,000 US dollars, whereby the former Texan star JJ Watt also contributed 10,000 US dollars and other former teammates.

“Rest in peace, brother,” wrote Watt on social media. “Passed far too early.”

From 2011 to 2017, Braman played seven seasons in the NFL. He won a super bowl with the Eagles after joining the team for the playoffs and blocking a punt in the division round. The Super Bowl Lii win was Braman's last NFL game.
